Built for live, chilled kombucha, this valve pouch pairs a pressure-tolerant valve fitment with a high-barrier laminate: PET/VMPET/PE as standard, or PET/AL/NY/PE when maximum oxygen and light block is required. The metallised or foil core holds back oxygen ingress that flattens flavour and dulls colour, while the PE sealant layer gives a clean, leak-tight weld around the valve base. A reinforced valve seat prevents flex cracking where the fitment meets film during dispensing. Pouches are formed on our Dongguan lines from food-contact grade film and run through a 15,000 m² clean workshop before packing.
Filling is straightforward on both cold-fill and aseptic lines. The valve fitment accepts standard filling heads, and the flat base lets the pouch stand for in-line coding, weight checks and secondary packing into corrugated BIB cartons. Every run is printed on our 10-colour rotogravure press, so brand colour, kombucha flavour markers and dispensing instructions stay sharp across 2 L, 5 L and 10 L formats. Matte or gloss finishes, registered spot colours and scuff-resistant over-lacquer are all available on request. Film width, valve position and valve angle are set per SKU to match your filler.
Minimum order is 10,000 pouches per size and design, with stock-film sampling in 7–10 business days and printed production samples before a run is released. Production lead time is typically 18–25 days after artwork approval, shipped FOB Shenzhen or Yantian for West Coast delivery. We quote valve type, film structure and carton count together so your dispensing equipment, shelf-life target and freight plan line up. For kombucha producers scaling from keg alternatives to retail BIB, we can quote 2 L, 5 L and 10 L in one artwork programme and hold repeat orders to the same film specification.
