This stand-up zipper pouch is built for olive oil's sensitivity to oxygen and light. A typical food-contact-grade laminate is PET/VMPET/PE or PET/AL/PE, with a metallized or foil layer to reduce oxygen and light transmission and a PE sealant for oil resistance and reliable heat sealing. The resealable zipper keeps the pour area clean between uses, while the stand-up base gives stability on shelves and in kitchen dispensers. Available in 500 mL, 1 L, 3 L, and 5 L formats, with corner spout or center spout options for controlled dispensing. The film can be tailored for cold-pressed, infused, and blended olive oils, and the pouch is compatible with manual, semi-automatic, and automatic filling lines.
Filling can be done through the top zipper opening or through the spout, depending on the chosen pouch format. The zipper track is designed for repeatable closure after opening, and the spout fitment is welded for leak-resistant pouring. We print with 10-colour rotogravure on the exterior film, allowing brand colours, oil grade, harvest year, and usage instructions to be reproduced consistently across runs. Standard MOQ is 10,000 pouches per design; lower trial quantities can be discussed for sampling. Pre-production samples typically take 7–10 working days after artwork approval, and production lead time is about 15–20 working days after sample sign-off, depending on capacity and spout availability.
For US West Coast specialty olive oil producers, this zipper pouch supports direct-to-consumer packs, refill programs, and foodservice back-of-house use. The barrier film helps protect aroma and flavour from oxygen pickup, while the opaque or metallized options reduce light exposure. The stand-up format can be shelf-displayed, and the spout version supports controlled drizzle without decanting. We can supply food-contact-grade film and discuss filling-line nozzle compatibility, cap styles, and secondary packaging before tooling. Please share your oil type, fill volume, target shelf life, and filling method so we can recommend the laminate and zipper/spout configuration without over-specifying. We do not claim specific shelf-life results without application testing; samples allow you to validate barrier, seal strength, and dispensing performance on your own line.
