Cold brew concentrate is a low-acid, oxygen-sensitive liquid, so the stand-up pouch is built around the film rather than around the look. Our standard build is PET/VMPET/PE with a 12 µm metallised polyester barrier layer; for extended ambient shelf life we quote PET/ALU/PE or a high-barrier clear-coated structure on request. The metallic or foil core blocks light and slows oxygen ingress, while the inner PE sealing layer is selected for cold-fill and aseptic filling lines and gives a clean, strong seal across the bottom gusset. Film thickness, sealant grade and barrier level are fixed per product — we confirm them against your fill temperature, pH and target shelf life before quoting.
The pouch uses a welded spout — centre or corner placement — sized for 500 ml through 5 L fills, with a screw cap or tamper-evident flip top. Spout bore and cap torque are matched to your filler: gravity, pressure, or aseptic bag-in-box dispensing where the same pouch hangs in a corrugated or reusable outer. The stand-up base lets a filled pouch sit unaided on a shelf or in a fridge, and the spout allows a bar or café to decant concentrate without opening the whole pack. We supply unfilled pouches, pre-made and ready for your filling line; fill trials on our spout sealing equipment can be arranged before mass production.
Printing runs on 10-colour rotogravure in our 15,000 m² Dongguan workshop, so matte/gloss combinations, reverse-printed graphics and tight registration on brand colour are all achievable; cold brew buyers typically print a matte black or kraft-look outer with a clear spout window. Typical MOQ is 10,000 pouches per size and per artwork for printed stand-up spout pouches, with lower quantities quoted for stock film structures. Sampling: digital or gravure proof pouches in 7–10 working days, production 15–20 working days after artwork and deposit approval. Film and pouch are food-contact grade; we do not publish certificates we do not hold — ask our team for the current documentation set for your market.
